Joe Hendel starts the show with his signature comments on the latest news of all kinds including Barack Obama, Family Feud, Nicolas Sarkozy, Carla Bruni, design, Efraim Diveroli and emo kids in Mexico among other topics. In the Midnight Movie House Joe presents the exclusive world premiere of a performance of "The Russian Doll" by Narcissister, a post-modern post-feminist sex artist whose performance work integrates dance and the visual arts and is inspired by performance art, burlesque, modern dance, and music videos. Joe's friend Ray Weiss of the band Le Rug stops by the music room to perform a cover of The Smith's "This Charming Man".
